{Happy} Halloween Wreath Tutorial
Numbers and glitter (I used PK Glitz ) Craft Paint (for numbers and beads) I used DecoArt Black and Tangelo Orange 1″ wooden beads or something about that size to put under the numbers. Hot Glue Gorilla Glue Decoupage Glue } Here’s what you do: Wrap ribbon around your wreath form. Secure with hot glue or Gorilla Glue using a pin until it dries. Cut ribbon into 4.5 inch lengths. For a 12 inch wreath form I used 12 different coordinating ribbon into 12 pieces = 54 inches of ribbon in each pattern. Fold each ribbon in half and sew each one closed. If you don’t have a sewing machine, you can hot glue each one closed. After you have sewed all of the ribbons, they will be in a long strip. cut each ribbon apart so they are separate. Then at the bottom of the ribbon loop, under the stitching you can separate out the two pieces of ribbon and hot glue the ribbon onto your wreath form. Glue the loops on in sections, making sure to use all of the different colored ribbons equally. Paint the 1″ beads and let dry.

Make a Mix-and-Match Necklace
There are two different types of sections in this necklace. The first set of sections consist of chains that were rescued from my costume jewelry collection. Trim the chain to the desired length and attach a jump ring to each end of it. Put a key ring on one end of each section. The two sections on the right were made using longer sections of chain doubled over through the key ring with the loose ends held together by a jump ring. The second set of sections were made using wire and beads. I used random beads from my stash and some colored floral wire that I recently picked up at Dollar Tree. To make a section, you will need to cut a length of wire; the amount of wire you need will depend on the size of the wire and the size and number of beads in each link. A sparkling rivoli pendant
Ibought a pair of beautiful 14mm fuchsia Swarovski rivolis from Rings&Things recently, and have been mulling over how to use them ever since. Finally, I gathered together some 4mm and 8mm Swarovski bicones, along with some beautiful seed beads, and got working! As you know, I most often turn to bead embroidery to make pendants and necklaces, but this time I thought it might be fun to use bead weaving instead. The bezels for rivolis stitch up fast. I’ve included the exact numbers of beads that I used, but you may find your count differs depending upon exactly what beads you use and how tight your tension is.

The boxes in the corner and a beaded dress
There are these boxes, two or three of them that have been sitting in the corner of the kitchen. I pass by them day after day. Looking at them, dreading them, knowing that if I opened them I would be making a commitment. A commitment to myself. They are boxes of Medifast that I ordered a few months ago. I’ve been telling myself that I’ll go back on..that I need to do it for my 20 year reunion, but now that’s only two weeks away so that goal flew out the But then, I found the formal dress for the cruise Hubby and I are going on in Nov. Let me tell you it was a GREAT DEAL we are talking SMOKIN’ deal…but alas a size too small…so what does a smart girl like me do. I buy the dress of course a beautiful beaded number that will look amazing with a sun kissed tan and some gorgeous golden high heel shoes. Then I come home walk over to the boxes, stare at them and make a commitment, once again, to myself. 4 mths. I ask myself how much can I loose in 4 mths? That was last Thurs. So as of today I am down 9 lbs.
